Innovative programmes are setting new standards in design and functionality
XTreme Plus – This surface, which has received the Red Dot Design Award, impresses with its ultra-matt aesthetic, velvety soft feel (“Blue Velvet”) and anti-fingerprint properties. The material also scores points with its high abrasion and scratch resistance and its rapid availability. Available in 13 solid colours, all with matching carcases, XTreme Plus is ideal for kitchen fronts, worktops and contract furniture.
Cleaf – Italian design meets technical ingenuity. The surfaces not only look stunning, but also offer a unique tactile experience – from wood and metal finishes to textile surfaces. Three-dimensional structures, for example, “Riga”, “Quercia”, and “Bruciato”, create fascinating reflections of light and a vibrant spatial ambience. With its choice of 45 decors, Cleaf offers almost unlimited design possibilities. As a result, Cleaf fits in perfectly with the newly enhanced MyHome living concept.
Naturally beautiful: New wood decors & OneLine carcase
Among the outstanding new concepts at this year’s in-house exhibition are the stylish Oak Coffee, Oak Mocca and Oak Caramel wood decors. The warm, natural colours of the Tessina surface captivate the beholder with their Synchropore featuring distinctive lively graining – a high-quality wood effect that perfectly combines warmth, cosiness and stylish design.
These decors can be combined in a particularly harmonious way thanks to the wide range of solid colours from the Beckermann colour portfolio. Two new favourite colours are especially striking: the soft white tone “Cosy White” and the classy, deep blue “Midnight”. Both colours are available throughout almost all the model ranges and materials – from melamine resin to lacquer.
Perfectly formed: Curves as a design statement
This year, the design leitmotif “roundness” was particularly eye-catching. Gentle curves characterise the new design and lend the rooms a modern, elegant sense of lightness. Whether as rounded pilasters in the bathroom or as a stylish surround for a wall unit – the design language is soft, harmonious and at the same time thoroughly modern.
One real highlight was the new design “Colorado in Fjord” – an alluring shade of blue that perfectly captures the zeitgeist of today. The handle-free kitchen island with its rounded fronts and worktop captured a lot of attention and impressively showcased how design and function can be perfectly harmonised. Special feature: the front, plinth and even the grip ledge are all lacquered in the same colour.
Another technical innovation also impressed: the carcase edging of the 19 mm OneLine carcase is now freely selectable. This guarantees maximum freedom of design – the furniture can be planned entirely in the desired wood decor, while the carcase edging can, for example, be matched tone-on-tone with the front. This creates well-conceived, aesthetically sophisticated solutions for the living spaces of today.
