The 6Plus carcase grid from Beckermann
We use a grid system for planning and describing cabinet heights, where 1 grid = 133 mm. Our standard height for kitchen base units is grid 6 (6 grids = 798 mm). It is standard market practice to work with different plinth heights and worktop thicknesses in order to achieve different working heights.
To make maximum use of this space, we have developed a special new Beckermann 6Plus grid height, a variable and millimetre-precise height extension of the standard base unit height up to the next full grid height 7 (grid 7 = 931 mm). The 6Plus grid allows the customer to freely select the cabinet height to meet their individual wishes and requirements. Here we have decided against a rigid half-grid, in favour of maximum individuality and ease of use.
The cabinet features are based on the 6-grid high standard cabinets. A base unit with 2 pull-outs also has 2 pull-outs in the 6Plus version, which can be individually adjusted to the selected cabinet height. Additional storage space is created when a carcase is extended. The front layout can be freely selected to make ideal use of this newly gained storage space. The customer therefore benefits from additional storage space exactly where it is needed. Beckermann Küchen will of course be continuing the customised front layout in the adjoining tall units. The result is a clean, uniform design and an aesthetically pleasing overall look. Functionality and design go hand in hand here.
The 6Plus grid can be used for the full range of Beckermann models and materials without exception, which means that the entire range of colours and styles can be used. Even case doors are possible. Similarly, the new, variable grid height does not restrict the choice of handles. Both surface-mounted handles and the Trendline variants, with a grip ledge inserted into the carcase, can be planned with ease.
Thanks to our new 6Plus grid and modern, resource-saving customised production (batch size 1), we can realise any desired height with millimetre precision and provide every customer with a working height that is perfectly tailored to their requirements. Functionality, aesthetic design, ergonomics and user-friendliness all help to create a sustainable kitchen. With the 6Plus grid, Beckermann Küchen is
expanding its range, which already includes depth and width reductions on request. The customisability of the carcases ensures a unique, ergonomic added value for the customer, as well as new opportunities to optimally adapt the kitchen to the existing space.
